On this page you can find a few examples of assignments I had to do during my time at Inholland. The examples vary from design work to chapters from written reports. (Links open up in a new window)

Year 1
Planet Internet
For an Adobe Indesign class we had in the first year we had to create a businesscard. Here is the result of those lessons.

P.I.N.K.
In term 3 of the first year we had to set up a new company and write a business plan for that company. We chose to create a taxi company for students. The name of the company was P.I.N.K. Together with the business plan we had to make a press kit with some goodies to show. One of those goodies was the P.I.N.K. taxi Cat card, this card was actually a "strippenkaart" but for a taxi. Playstation 2
In term 4 we had a subject called Visual communication. For this class we had to design a new promotion campaign for an already established company. We chose to make a campaign for Playstation 2. One of the aspects of this assignment was making advertisments. Click here and here for the ads I made for this subject.

Year 2
Glacial, Urban Groovezz and De Ruijter
In the second term of the second year I got an assignment for a lecture in design to create an advertisement for a product of your choice. I chose a mentholated splash lotion which is famous and used by everyone in Curacao. The name of the product is Glacial. Click here to view the ad.
For the same design class I had to create a flyer for a party in a club called Off corso. To view that flyer click here and here for the front and the back.
I also had to redesign the packaging of a famous Dutch brand called De Ruijter that amongst others provides chocolateflakes for on your bread. Click here to see the original version of the packaging and click here for my version.

Red
What we also had to do this year was earn some special credits. In order for me to earn those credits I decided to create a salsa magazine. I teamed up with a student from my class and we named the magazine Red. We only had to create the front cover, an advertisment in the magazine and one article. Year 3
For the first term of year three I teamed up with an all girl group to create a campaign as an assigment for the class Developing visual strategies. We created an campaign for a clothing company called L.A.M.B., which was a new company at the time and is owned by Gwen Stefani. Year 4
The first term of my last year of this study we had some lessons in event management. Our main assignment was to create and celebrate a new flight route from Xi'an (China) to Rotterdam and back. For this assignment I made a short introductory video containing some footage and information about Xi'an. You can view this video by pressing play.
